The founder of AKM has been washed down a river in Arctic Svalbard, cleared a polar bear rifle with a tent guy-line, and spent two days escaping through the jungle when the map said there was a way out - and there wasn’t.

AKM was born from those moments when comfort ends and instinct takes over.
