Course Description

Spend the day on the coast learning to fish with a simple handline, while exploring the coastline and understanding how to work with the environment.

We’ll move along the coast, searching for promising marks, reading the tide and putting lines in where it counts. Along the way you’ll get hands-on with the basics of handline fishing, learn how to choose locations, and build confidence fishing in real conditions.

We’ll take time to explore rock pools, move safely over varied terrain and stop for a relaxed lunch break outdoors before heading back out for more fishing.

This is a practical down-to-earth day designed to give you a real experience of coastal fishing. Whether you’re completely new to it or just want to try something different, you’ll leave with the confidence to pick up a hand line and have a go yourself.

Catches are never guaranteed, but a proper day on the coast is.
